LA CASAREGINA **

Casaregina lies in S.Anna di Valdieri, the only inhabited hamlet in the heart of the Maritime Alps Nature Park, a territory which had been chosen by the king as his own hunting reserve. A mosaic of lakes, summits, mild alpine plains, inhabited by proud ibexes and nimble chamois this territory, the favorite destination for the best climbers, waits for you to be lived with trekking shoes or by mountain bike, or simply to be admired in your relaxation moments.
Casaregina is a Tourist Hotel Accommodation: it features twelve completely renovated apartments, with equipped kitchenette, independent bathroom, third or fourth bed in the living room; there is no TV in order to respect the nature surrounding us.
Casaregina is not a hotel, but it offers its guests the opportunity to stay in the apartments and choose to have their meals in the restaurant of the accommodation facility, both with full board or half board accommodation. Casaregina is the Hosteria, the aroma of a hot dish, the intense scent of a good wine, the creamy texture of a housemade ice cream, but especially the smile of those who can slow down and take their time. Ecoturismo in Marittime
Casaregina belongs to the Ecoturismo in Marittime association which, together with the Maritime Alps Nature Park and other operators in the territory, joined the European Charter for Sustainable Tourism and aims to develop a tourism which is respectful of both the environment and the local communities. On demand it is possible to receive advice and a guide service for the routes by mountain bike and for the hikes.

Leisure time
Casaregina is situated only 6.7 km far from the thermal baths in Valdieri. It is a particularly pleasant destination thanks to the exclusive symbiosis between nature and effective therapies; they are the best place to do one's own "pleasant duty" to take care of oneself.

HOW TO ARRIVE
By car:
- From Milan or Turin
Take the Turin-Savona Highway (A6) and the Asti-Cuneo (A33). Exit at Sant´Albano Stura and follow the provincial road (SP 3) via Castelletto Stura and Montanera that leads to Borgo San Giuseppe close to Cuneo. Take the ring road Via Bovesana (SP 21) and reach Borgo San Dalmazzo. Follow the indications to Terme di Valdieri, Take the SP 22 and continue to Sant´Anna.
- Liguria
Follow the A6 Highway up to Mondovì and then reach Borgo S. Dalmazzo, follow the indications to Terme di Valdieri, take the SP 22 and continue to Sant´Anna.
- From Nice or Ventimiglia
Follow the Roya Valley, the hill of Tenda tunnel and the SS 20 to Borgo S. Dalmazzo, follow the indications to Terme di Valdieri, Take the SP 22 and continue to Sant´Anna.

With public transports:
- By plane
The main international airports to reach the Maritime Alps are Torino - Caselle and Nice (France).
Another international airport is Levaldigi - Cuneo called by some low cost airlines.
- By train
Cuneo or Borgo S. Dalmazzo railway stations (timetables: Trenitalia, SNCF), from where you have to continue by bus or taxi
- By bus
From Cuneo and Borgo San Dalmazzo there is a public transport service for the surroundings of Sant´Anna and Spa, operated by Autolinee New Benese (timetables: Autolinee Nuova Benese, tel. +39 0171 692 929) only in July and August.
